Dr James completed a Bachelor’s Degree is Physiology at Queen’s University in 1984.  He then went on to do a M.S.c in Genomic s and Pathway Biology in 1985.  Dr James Ross worked for six years in the Edinburgh Centre for Integrative Physiology.  His main focus was to exploit rapid advances in the enabling technologies available from genomic s, proteomics, imaging and informatics to allow development of predictive modelling and in analysis to understand the function of gene products at the cell, organ and whole animal level.
